My Garage Door Opener works with the switch but not the remotes? LED blinking eyes ok.

1/2 HP chain driven opener part # 413A315-6C. I have 3 of the same openers, switches, and remotes. I moved switches and one started to blink now the switch works but none of the remotes work on that particular door. Where can I find out what the blinking means it must be some kind of code. It is a continuous blink. not a 3 blinks then pause or something of that nature.

I was not able to find information on your model using the 413A315-6C number so, unfortunately, I could not confirm what features or programming style you have and there is limited information I can provide.

On some models a blinking light on the wall control itself could indicate a ?Vacation? or ?Lock? feature may have been accidentally activated. The method for turning those on and off can vary but your Owner's Manual should provide all the details and the information in the below will also apply to many models.

As with any remote issue, it could also be related to a low battery in one of the remotes. If that is the case then you may need to reprogram the remotes once the battery is replaced. Again, that procedure should be in your manual or may be on the opener itself, but for most newer-style Craftsman openers the programming procedures below will also work.

If the switches you referred to are actually small dip-switches in or on the remotes, then you have an older-style system that needs all the switches on all the remotes and the overhead opener unit to be set the same in order to work. Sometimes the contacts in those small switches become corroded or blocked by debris and cause them to stop working. Spraying them with a contact cleaner and then working them back and forth will sometimes restore them or you may need to replace the remote.

If none of this seems to help, feel free to submit another question here with a little more detail on the symptoms and include a complete model number off the overhead unit itself and we will do our best to help further. For most Craftsman models the model will be the number that starts in a 139 prefix.
