In some cases, the pipe is not damaged, but its location makes it vulnerable. Mechanical damage causing leakage and/or obstruction of the piping is the implication.
Watch for piping that may be damaged by opening doors or by vehicles (in garages), or is otherwise susceptible to being bumped. You'll have to use some common sense here.
